Lydia and Chris are ex Facebook, Slack, Brex, and Salesforce employees with 15 years of combined experience interviewing and partnering with recruiting teams at various company sizes in order to hire top talent. ModernLoop aims to be the recruiting infrastructure that powers recruiting operations at every company.

The Account Executive will be the first person to introduce the benefits of ModernLoop to some of the largest customers of tomorrow. You’ll learn about the product and understand the unparalleled value that it can provide to enterprise customers. You’ll have a budget and supporting resources to craft a strategy for prospecting, engaging and cultivating future customers. With the team at your back you’ll action your outbound strategy, introducing ModernLoop to hundreds of net new accounts, and working strategically to understand their current challenges and how ModernLoop can help. When the time is right, you’ll partner with our CEO to help guide customers to the plan that is right for them.

As an AE, you love sourcing and reaching out to and engaging with stakeholders at companies at various sizes. You know the tactics to get their attention and you have a fundamental understanding of the strategic problems they face. Most importantly, you are a self-starter who thrives with minimal oversight. You are excited by the target in front of you and are motivated to meet and exceed it.

About the Role:

  • Develop the pipeline for outbound sales, by sourcing and booking high-quality introductory meetings with qualified prospects
  • Own lead generation and sales operations
  • Develop an awareness and activation strategy with specific tactics to introduce potential customers to the benefits of ModernLoop
  • Partner closely with the CEO to provide a seamless experience to future customers
  • Develop a deep knowledge of ModernLoop's product offering to engage in meaningful conversations with target accounts
  • Develop hypotheses and test out tactics to determine the best ways to reach customers
  • Track and analyze results diligently

About You:

  • 1-3 years experience as an SDR/BDR or AE, preferably in a SaaS platform software
  • Demonstrated ability to pitch, cultivate relationships, and schedule high-quality introductory meetings
  • Comfort and experience with variety of tactics, e.g., cold calling, personalized email, personalized LinkedIn messages, events, direct mail, social media, targeted ads, direct outreach, networking, etc. to develop new leads
  • Experience combining a strategic mindset to create a plan of action with the discipline and communication skills to execute and iterate
  • Team player who works collaboratively to provide the best experience for customers and to support their colleagues’ skill development
  • Extremely strong verbal and written communicator, familiar with enterprise business communication standards

Preferred:

  • Experience in enterprise-level sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and regularly exceed qualified lead generation targets
  • Experience demonstrating value of tech, software, or SaaS products
